Today, I spent hours cooking an amazing dinner for my family, who had just gotten home from a trip, so we could spend some time together because I'd started to miss everyone. Today, I'm on a road trip with my wife and in-laws. After 8 hours of driving we stopped at a hotel to rest overnight. I was elected to go to the grocery store to get dinner. While I was gone, they ate at a restaurant without me. I spent $80 on groceries for the trash can. FML

Today, my boyfriend got me the awning I wanted for my terrace. Only he ordered it in the wrong material and the wrong size, figuring that anything similar was close enough. Now he's annoyed that he spent so much money and that I want to send it back. FML

I’m sure others will tell you the many easy ways to rectify this problem in some obvious, boring steps. I say you ought to convince your husband that you two should pick up and move 1291 miles away to that new town! The delivery of the top-quality parts wasn’t a mistake, it was a sign!

From what you are telling us, I don't think your husband will trust you with things like that anymore, so the good part is is that you will have less work

Since this mistake is not your problem I'm not really sure why you're so upset. The company obviously made a mistake and I'm sure they will fix it. It's not like you have to pay for it.
