Don't feel bad... I got rejected from Target. 3.5 years of retail experience, college degree... but I'm not bilingual.

i've been rejected by heaps of crappy fast food places over about 5 years of searching for a casual job (since i was ~15). But eventually i secured my current job within half an hour of hearing of the vacancy (and its a GOOD job for someone my age) - just keep your eyes open, it may take a while but something will come :)

I used to manage a mcdonalds here in Birmingham. Chances are you were either too qualified (we reject over qualified people to give lesser qualified people a chance) or too many tattoos.
