well. the maid cant pay because we give her 15$ PER month. and we cant deduct it because... IN rural places of Nepal , where my servant comes from, one family consists of 9/10 sons or daughters .. so that 15$ directly goes to her HUGE family.

In Asia you can get a maid for like USD 200 a month so that's why many families have maids. I have one too, and they come from rural countries so they obviously won't know what a PS3 is.

Even if the original poster is 'rich enough to have a maid', it doesn't mean that it sucks any less you have to buy a new one. This is just like if your iPod or something was stolen, sure thing they can replace it but it's still inconvenient that you have to just because of someone's actions.

You don't have to be rich in Asia to get a maid. Some people work for VERY cheap - and offer service of equal quality.
