Today, my mom admitted that her story about my dad leaving us for his current wife was a lie. He left when he caught her with a coworker. She blocked his number and got a restraining order to keep him from telling his side of the story. I haven't talked to my dad for six years because of this. FML

FYL. Hopefully you call your dad and try to build a relationship with him and get away from your mom. She's the kind of woman that will rot your life if you don't get away as soon as you can.

wow... your mom is a massive bitch for keeping that from you for all those years. FYL

this really sounds bad ... the fact that your mom actually did such a thing ...

Get away from her ASAP. I'm surprised any judge granted a restraining order without hearing both sides OR allowing the father to have a few last words. Your mother is a shitty human being, cheaters deserve to die.

oh yeah, when my mum got one against my dad last year I was surprised too. The police seem to be hopeless when it comes to issuing people restraining orders without investigating properly first - or at least, questioning the LAMENESS of the reasons for said restraining orders TT

Tell your mom that since were all telling secrets she oughta know that she's not your real mom. You're the product of one of your fathers affairs. She'll be very distraught then go live with your dad.

lol what you're being sarcastic, right?

I would beat that bitch until she was black and blue. I haven't talked to my dad in almost two years for a similar situation (in which I know he actually did leave us) but if I somehow found out something like that I'd end up arrested at the very least for attempted murder. But at the very least it was six years - I've known people who didn't learn the truth of things like this for decades.

oh wow dude that is extremely low

I'm so sorry to hear this for you. Your mum doesn't sound like she's psychologically sound. I'd love to know how she managed to get the restraining order, and why your dad didn't try to get in touch with you after it ceased? You poor thing. FYL indeed.

In California, it's not that hard to renew a Restraining Order....especially if you have a permanent one. They're good for 3 years, and all you have to do is show up and they'll renew it, basically.

Wow, mom is crazy. Go meet your dad and try to build a relationship
