Today, my mom and I had to shovel our driveway after an epic snowstorm that left us with 22 inches of snow. We only needed to dig out my mom's car and not mine. After we did all that work and shoveled all the snow onto the side where my car was we found out my mom had a flat tire. FML

So you can shovel driveways, dig out cars, but not change a tire? ..it's 4 or 5 bolts, and all the shit is in your trunk...

I'll bet you felt rather deflated after all of that.

27 inches (plus another foot in spots from drifts), three cars. Stop complaining.

It can't have been 22 inches you fool, you must mean centimetres, think how big an inch is!

No. It was inches. That's why it was a big deal. "You fool."

Ehm, we have 1 - 1.5 m here in Latvia in some regions, so I guess it could've easily been 22"...

Did you know that the world record for snowfall in a 24-hour period was in April 14th to 15th, 1921 at Silver Lake, Colorado, USA. They received 170 cm (1.70 m) of snow.

That's not even two feet. It's not that much snow o_O

It's plenty. Plus it was really powdery, and stuck to the shovels all too well.

screw the flat tire she shouldve digged out your car too. You have a life and it doesnt involve her

I'm gonna insult you in a different manner from everyone else. YDI for owning a car, buy a 4 wheel drive truck.

Dude, the OP lives in VA. VA almost never receives anywhere near that amount of snow. No need to waste gas (and by extension, money) driving a truck, when a car works fine 99999 days out of 100000.

Does your car work 99999 days out of 100000? You actually owned a car for over 270 years? Holy Shit.

Did you read what I wrote? I'm saying we don't get enough snowfall in VA to merit a truck 99999 days out of 100000. Not saying/implying anyone would own the same car for that long. BTW, it's called hyperbole. Everyone knows it's more like 99998/99999 days.

my god you had to change the tire too ful

a 4 wheel drive truck won't get you too far either. having a 2 wheel drive truck myself, my dad and i saw plenty of people stuck in the snow because they thought they could get somewhere fast in the 4 wheel drive. fyl for digging out the car and finding a flat.

I'm so mad I didn't go to Virginia a few days earlier to see the snow. My dad and sister still live in Fredericksburg. I got nothing in North Carolina, like always. Now, the snow is melting there. It's so unfair. OP: That sucks. Don't use the word "epic" though. It's really getting old.

So it snowed. Big deal. Learn to live with it. 22 inches is not much. So you have a flat. Big deal. Learn to change a tire. A flat is not hard to change.

I'll bet you felt rather deflated after all of that.
