What is worse is in the cartoon, the parents of the kids let their 10yr old children roam alone in the woods. Searching for wild and potentially dangerous animals to train up to fight other pokemon. Kind of like an illegal **** fighting ring for 10yr olds.

Tehe, sounds like my Dad - when Black and White came out we ended up in a full scale argument over battling Pokemon 'cause I started to feel bad. He then bitched me out till I had a bulbasaur on my team. Good times ^_^ I had to transfer that little bitch from leaf green...

It is kind of an evil concept if you think about it. You beat a pokemon until it comes close to fainting so you can capture it. Once you've captured it you force it to fight other pokemon until the opponent faints. However, pokemon is the best thing ever and I wish it was real.

I didn't know what "Spartacus" was so I googled it. Wikipedia said that Spartacus was the leader of a slave up-rising in ancient Rome. Are you saying that the pokemon are going to bust out of their poke balls to overthrow their human masters??? OH SHIT!!! Why did I train them to level 100??? They're gonna kick my flabby human ass!!!

80- Lol, okay, that is who Spartacus Was, what I was referring to was the tv series Spartacus: blood and sand. They depict his life, capture, training and uprising in a bit of a fantastically unrealistic way, that relates to what they appear to do with Pokemon as far as I can tell, but only if Pokemon was rated 18A, not G. ;P

Love Pokemon, I'm the type of nerdy girl who gets upset though that they don't have a blonde character u can be, I'm in middle school hahahaha

The Pokemon regions are supposed to be based of Japanese regions. Kanto is a real region there, the maps are based of Japan's geography, except for Unova, which is based of America. So of course you won't be able to play as a blonde character if they're all (maybe Gen 5) Japanese, and a naturally blonde person isn't really normal in Japan. Besides, you play what you get. If Gamefreak let you customize your character, I'd make mine look like Goku.
