At 22, why would you still be going shopping with your mom for groceries? O_o
At least she cares enough to try and get you back
Alzheimer's?
Why is everybody commenting "If you're 22 why are you grocery shopping with your mom?" how ignorant can some people be? First off, OP still may live with their mom. It's not uncommon for adults to stay with their parents through their 20's for several reasons...I.E. until graduating college, or simply because the cost of living is ridiculously high. Secondly, even if she doesn't live with her there's several reasons she might go shopping with her. I moved out when I was 19 and my parents took me grocery shopping to help me with the transition and even pitch in for groceries. Or maybe she was visiting her mom from out of town and decided to go grocery shopping together for their own groceries. Several scenarios could apply. We don't know OP's situation. I've had family members that didn't move out of their parents' until their late 20's. SMH.
She needs to chill.
It sounds like maybe, just maybe, your mother has attachment issues.
She may very well have Separation Anxiety Disorder.
