I do my own hair, but perming isn't something I would do at home. Actually, it's not something I would do at all, but that's just me, and I tend to look like a poodle when my hair is curly. Maybe you should let your mom practice (on her own head) before trying it again, because doing hair does take quite a bit of practice before you're good at it, and trust me, many mistakes will be made. At one point, in my early hair-doing days, I had bleached my hair to the point that when I got out of the shower, I could grab a handful, and literally pull it out with no effort at all. It just came right out. My hair is healthy again though, and hopefully your skin will be too, soon.

i say you deserved it your hair is the way it naturally is for a reason and if you dont like it thats your probablem and getting chemical burns in your head is your fault if you would just gain some self confidence and wear your hair the way it was intended to be worn then you wouldnt have this probablem now would you sry if i was harsh but it is the truth

At least your hair didn't fall out. Someone in my cosmetology class ****** a perm up and the lady lost most of her hair in the rollers. :O
