Today, I heard that there was supposed to be a huge blizzard heading our way, so I went out to stock up on groceries. After spending $600 on food, I drove home and packed most of it into the fridge and freezer just in time for our power to go out. FML

Today, I decided I'd sell an old motorcycle I had, in order to help with the bills. I had to be at work at the time when an interested buyer was to show up, so I entrusted my mother with the exchange as she's unemployed. Mom pocketed the money and bought a new freezer for her house, and won't pay me back. FML

hurricane shutters are also good for winter storms too. and to lock up your house if you go on vacation. or to keep the zombies out. as you can see, they have multiple uses - even in Chicago. DO NOT let you mom watch any more disaster or zombie movies.
