Are you implying that all british people are idiots?
in Britain the only people wrking on maccyd's are chavs and all they would say is " yeh blud you want chips init "
British accents don't make you sound smart. They make you sound untrustworthy. Just look at any Walt Disney film.
No, walt disney simply stereotypes the english as evil and americans as heroes. Which has always seemed weird to me as the majority of the american population wouldn't exist if us (the english) and the dutch had never colonised north america
@129 your so right also they depict us as people with funny accents and "would you like some tea gub'ner" hardly any english person they are stereotypes that depict us as tea drinking funny dressed weirdos
Maybe she needs to talk with a british accent to make her sound smarter
First of all, STEREOTYPE! Although at least us British people have grammar. And can spell. And know math. And science (for crying out loud, the sun does NOT move!). And are basically smarter than you yanks. (I would know, I've unfortunately lived in U.S.A. for 4 years. Mum made us move, I still hate her for it.) Second, not everybody in the U.K. likes tea, we're not all posh snobs, and nobody says "pip pip cheerio" or "hello gub'ner" unless they are making fun of of the annoying stereotypes about us. Third, FAIL!!! And in U.K. the fast food is way better. But no Wendy's or Checkers. :( We have better chocolate though! CADBURY'S, GALAXY, FREDDO'S!! :)
You do realize you are stereotyping Americans as stereotyping. Just because this girl's mother said it, doesn't make it what all Americans think. You just haven't met any smart people because it seems as if you don't even try, with your bias. Most Americans know the sun doesn't move.Although this is how society works - showing the worst of another country/continent/region i.e. Jerry Springer- you seem smart enough to know not everything is what it seems. The U.K and America are equal, we both have faults and greatness.
Yeah, i noticed that. Wtf, disney! We are not evil villians!!
This reminds one of Ross from 'Friends' when he faked a British accent :P
Talk with a Russian accent to get the job 100%
*Sigh.* There's no such thing as a British accent. Britain is England, Scotland and Wales. Each of those countries has it's own accent, and each of those accents has many varied regional dialects. What Americans mean when they say "British accent" is "upperclass English accent." And even then, their impressions are about 200 years old.

'British is not a different language. you're a retard.
Did your mom suggest this while using a British accent to make her idiotic idea sound better?
