If it was not a joke, you should stop seeing her or talking to her even if she's your mother You don't deserve to be depressed too and listening to her complaining won't change anything.She is the only one to blame for her mistakes.

Things like that don't necessarily mean that she's a bad mom or that she doesn't love OP. My mom says that all the time and yet she's the best mom a kid could ever wish for. If OP's Asian he should know better than take things like that seriously but maybe work on himself a bit because although it hurt in the beginning I could always see what I did that drove her to say that. it's not like she sad that for fun or something

OP, I hope that was just an off way of telling you that you drive your mom crazy. If not, here's my 2 cents. Suicide is an intensely personal decision. If she really wants to kill herself, there's nothing you can do do stop her and if she doesn't want to, she won't. Unless she accidentally kills herself while acting out. Whatever happens, don't feel guilty. (PS my dad committed suicide, so I know what I'm talking about.)
