Today, my mother and I went to Wal-Mart to buy pads. I suggested I get tampons instead, so that I can go swimming at my boyfriend's cottage. My mother then goes to the nearest store employee and asks, "excuse me, if my daughter uses a tampon, does that mean she is no longer a virgin?" FML

I popped my cherry from a tampon so techincally it depends on the definition because in some countries a girl with a broken hymen is not a virgin, even if they technically never had sexual intercourse. But anyway your mom must either be dumb or a bitch. But I would just ignore it and go buy your own tampons are pretty cheap I get ones for under 5 dollars, and pantie liners are dirt cheap too. good luck.
