Today, my mother and I went to Wal-Mart to buy pads. I suggested I get tampons instead, so that I can go swimming at my boyfriend's cottage. My mother then goes to the nearest store employee and asks, "excuse me, if my daughter uses a tampon, does that mean she is no longer a virgin?" FML

Today, at my cousin's birthday party, my grandma took me to one side, slipped me a pad, and started ranting that tampons "steal your virginity" and that I should never use them. Well, okay then. FML

I honestly don't know but umm was your mom trying to be funny? cause to lose ur virginity can be interpeted in different ways. it may be her opinion that if anything enters you in the ****** then u r not a virgin anymore. you should have looked at her very seriously and said in a loudish voice, "lady, I don't mean to meddle, but that was a very rude and insensitive thing to do. you should be ashamed of yourself, and you should also be happy your daughter was not here to be embarrased by you." then just walk away.
