lol used to stand for 'lots of love'..only recently have we turned it into 'laugh out loud'
I read this same thing on funny.com it was a joke that some one posted. I don't believe this happened to you.
I agree that lol may stand for lots of love. But then what's important is how the friend perceive lol as. It might not be wrong, but it can be wronged.
that's unfortunate, but i'm guessing jen probably knows your mom well enough to figure this one out.
Haha. My Aunt thinks LOL stands for Lots Of Love too. She used to say "Bye LOL" When she and I ended our text convos and I'm thinking to myself "I don't find 'bye' very funny." I finally asked her why she said LOL after she said bye all the time and she said "I can't love my niece?" And then I figued it out. Wasn't a big deal. We LOL'ed about it. :]
