Fail Mum is fail. But seriously, that is ****** up dude. Get the **** out of there!
In Australia we don't get food stamps. The government pays us a pension whether we are sixteen and living out of home, whether we are single mums with six kids or even married couples with kids. My mum gets about $800 a week for the kids. I get $360 a fortnight on a youth allowance. Doesn't America have these things for the unemployed?
***** yourself to a couple of fat chicks
...or one REALLY fat chick
HAHAHAHAHA APPRECIATE THIS COMMENT, SO!
sounds like you need a job
And why a stuffed dog? O.o that's just plain random O.o My imaginary friend thinks your mum has SERIOUS issues.
or, that this fml is fake. I dunno, it's just way too random and doesn't seem logical... I mean, almost every kid has at least some money stowed away, so it just seems fishy to me.
but i never did lol. never got pocket money. Or OP could just be lazy. OPs mum might just be trying to encourage him to get a job and at least try to learn to support himself (that is, IF OP is old enough to do so
Well now you got something else to eat and a giant stuffed dog to snuggle.
If you're old enough to complain, you're old enough to get a job and buy your own foods...
hahaha yeah newborns complain when they want the teat... better put that baby to work, she can't eat popcorn yet, no teeth.
Bullshit! In the US, you're not considered to be old enough to fend for yourself until the age of eighteen. Until then, it's up to your parents to care for you and hopefully help mold you into a responsible adult. If OP is still in school, they should only be concerned with grades and college prep, not if their psycho Mom is going to feed them this week. A part time job is great and character building but OP shouldn't be the sole provider in the household. My three year old nephew complains when he can't have a toy he wants...doesn't mean shit. If you're old enough to talk, you can complain.
68 is right..in the US you are legally eligible to care for yourself by the age of 16 as long as you are emancipated...sometimes younger( which is really rare happens)..someone can get a job at 14(brusters and chik fil a hire that young) but most don't until they are 15 or 16...if OP is old enough to work then they need to go find a job and buy themselves food since their mother clearly isn't going to feed them anymore...in the case that they aren't old enough to get an actual job...they can always offer to walk pets, mow lawns, baby sit and other little odd jobs around their community...they are supporting themselves entirely they are just doing what it takes to survive..so instead of bitching they need to be out doing w/e they can to feed themselves since mom won't
OP still has the right to say "**** my life" for having to deal with all of that. Do you really think any court is going to emancipate a minor with a part time job at a fast food restaurant? Or that they'll be able to cover a fraction of rent in California on that salary, let alone groceries? OP may have to grow up a bit ahead of schedule but I don't think emancipation is the answer and they can bitch if they want to. That's sort of what this site is for.
yea they can bitch but it doesn't mean they shouldn't get off their ass and do something about it..no matter how old you are there are always ways to make an extra buck..and yes the courts will emancipate a teen working at a fast food joint..my ex got emancipated and didn't even have a job to support himself...usually kids are living at a friend's house when it gets to that point. just cuz you are emancipated doesn't mean ur 100% on your own..it just means your parents are no longer responsible for you..I was t suggested OP get emancipated I was just saying that in the US you are legally eligible to care for yourself at an age younger than 18 with the correct documentation...I was, however, stating that op can find a way to make money and buy their own food even if they arent old enough for a real part time job
you have popsicles and a stuffed dog. why are you complaining??
jeez guys it was just a joke...why so serious?
nice
