Today, my mother went shopping. She bought three boxes of Popsicles and a giant stuffed dog. She did not buy dinner or toilet paper. I've eaten nothing but cereal and popcorn for three days now. FML

You need to tell someone about this. Call the police, or your local children's help line, or tell a teacher at school. It's not okay for your mom to do this, but there are people out there that can help you.

Why can't you go to the shops and buy food for yourself? If you're not old enough to get a job then ask your mum for money to buy the food and whatever else you need. If she refuses then you can probably call social services or something..

Or the op is 30 with no cooking skills and there is plenty of food in the house but the mother is unwilling to cook. The way op said she didn't buy dinner implied to me that op expected something premade.
