Today, my mum deleted my college research assignment on rape because the subject was too vulgar. I had worked on it for the past month and it was worth 50% of my grade. It's due tomorrow. FML

No, rape happens because some men want to overpower another being. It's not about sex at all. Some men punch up people at bars while intoxicated, others calculate how to force a victim to submit to them and lie in wait. But I agree that victims are too shocked or frightened to go to the police and wash the evidence away. If you have windows, try doing a system restore to restore your computer to the time before your mum deleted it. Or you know, check the trash bin on your desktop.

I'm sorry :( FYL. YOur mom is odd. Next time lock your files.... or even better, set up a password for your computer AND lock your file. THen make numerous copies and stick them to random places on your computer.

That's what you get for trying to make people sad and uncomfortable. Nobody wants to hear about rape. Why not do a paper on something nice like.... yeast infections or copyright infringment. Now those are subjects that people want to hear about.

first off, that really sucks. my parents are like that too. try checking the Recycle Bin, and if it is there, right click it, and hit the "restore" button. hope this helps!
