Today, my mum deleted my college research assignment on rape because the subject was too vulgar. I had worked on it for the past month and it was worth 50% of my grade. It's due tomorrow. FML

It should be fairly simple to recover. Or you could just get a Mac. You can recover anything on those.

But jetlock, If the OP gets a mac, he just paid twice the price of a computer that has the same computing power and capabilities. Or the same price as a computer that has twice the capabilities.

Oh, STFU, why do you care? Do you honestly think you're going to convince me to switch back to Windows? I can afford to pay more for my computer, therefore I will choose one I like. I like the operating system, and I like how the computers look. I like the good tech support. Why do you give a shit that my computer's different than yours? Stop bitching. Just because you have no use for a mac, or don't have the means to afford one, does not mean that it's useless to everyone.

@ #115 First off the comment was not directed at you. The largest complaint that people who own Macs make in their defense is that they can afford it. Well guess what that's completely irrelevant. It doesn't make up for the fact that Macs are shitty computers and should all be destroyed. Linux FTW.

Simple fix. Don't use one. Mac users arent going to switch, because the like them, and have the means to buy one. Windows users are the ones that switched, like me and my dad for instance. Now, im not gonna go all MAC WTF or WINDOWSFTL. I use Microsoft office, i have an Xbox, my website is hosted using linux, my old desktop is xp, but my new, shiny laptop is a Mac.

Nobody is making you use a mac. I'm so sick of people bashing something that doesn't affect them. How does it hurt you that I use a mac? Oh wait... it doesn't. At all.
