Today, my neighbor installed a large radio that loudly plays Christmas music 24/7. When I called in a complaint to the police department they told me to, "get in the Christmas spirit." FML

Revenge. Loudly play gangnum style. That might eventually stop them

Simple Solution: Blast Gangnam Style back at your neighbors 24/7. They'll lose their Christmas spirit in a hurry. Edit: Damn you 4 and your wizardry

Just do like I would, go up and cut they're wires to the speaker if its outside speakers, if inside speakers, put a guitar amp on an extension card and put it up to the window closest to the speakers, the reverb off the amp will most likely send the whole house outside to escape

Seems like we have similar problems. My neighbors have a Santa that pops out of a chimney and says "Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas". Sorry OP.

I had to live with that.... My dad did the same thing. Except we had no neighbors to call and complain so it just went on and on.

Op have you trying knocking on your neighbors door and asking him to turn it down.

I don't blame you. But I'm generous and say after Thanksgiving.

#29: I think execution is a bit harsh. How about just send them to a rehabilitation centre to teach them the dangers of the consumerism that is so prominent during this season? (I know that comment was a joke, but I just want to bring up a serious issue here.)

Not surprisingly, I see some comments here insulting OP and calling him such names as Scrooge or the Grinch. All I can say to that is bah, humbug. What people call Christmas spirit, these days, I just call mindless consumerism. Certainly far from the peace and good will that was once associated with Christmas.

Why would this get rated as a ydi? There's a fine line between having a Christmas spirit and his neighbor being an inconsiderate douche. I'd be pissed if I had to hear crappy music when I'm trying to sleep or go about my day.
