Today, my new roommate decided to put his pet hamster in the same cage as my beloved hamster. Apparently he wanted them to make hamster babies. They are both males. His hamster attacked mine and tore it to pieces. I just finished cleaning up the mess. FML

Moment of silence for the poor hamster.....your roommate sucks. He should have known that you had a male hamster. He's not a good roommate...once again, I'm sorry for your loss.

Uh, yeah, I'm going to go ahead and agree by saying that hamsters can be vicious like any other animal, but not so vicious that they can't be separated in a fight. They are HAMSTERS. Not even as big as your hand. And this fight had to have been going on for a long time for one to "tear the other into shreds." I'm also going to agree with wilshires and say that there is no way anyone could miss the huge balls on a male hamster for a female. The OP's roommate is a moron.

actually, sometimes the balls are small and very hard to spot. and ouch... umm... HAMSTERS ARE VERY VIOLENT WHEN THEY WANT TO BE.

how pieces was that hamster in? O.o put his hamster near his balls while he is sleeping :P

She probably couldn't separate them because she didn't get home until her hamster was already dead! If she had noticed the roommate putting his hamster into her hamster's cage and seen that they didn't get along I'm sure she would have intervened...

A.)Should've raised your hamster to be more badass B.)Hamsters are gay pets anyway.

I guess your hamster was the bottom. Your roomates hamster needed to fully appreciate making your hamster his bitch so he just killed him after, as a way of making him feel "manly" again.

If he was stupid enough to throw them in together, I wouldn't doubt he'd be dumb enough to think hamster mating rituals are similar to the tasmanian devils'

How do you mistake a male hamster for a female? They have balls the size of chicken eggs
