Today, my parents insisted that despite the fact I've just turned sixteen, I have to save them money by ordering from the children's menu, because I "still look like a twelve year-old." FML

Child abuse is not feeding your kid at all. OP is lucky his parents will take him out and pay for a meal. When I was that age, I was just left at home to eat whatever was in the fridge. It's not like they humilated him publicly or made him watch while they ate or something.

It could be worse. I'm 15 and my mom still says I'm 9 at the Chinese buffet so it's cheaper -____- the sad part is. It works.
