#77's right. OP, quit feeling entitled to shit. If worse comes to worse or you really want that computer, you could ... ~gasp!~ ... get a job.
The OP wasn't feeling entitled to the computer. From what it sounds like, the parents *were* going to get the new computer hadn't she failed PE. Also, I can definitely understand failing that class. Nowadays, there are a lot of factors that go into grading. I know my school had a lot of writing assignments in PE, and to be honest, between those and the English essays, English was a little more important. Also, dressing for PE is a big factor too--sometimes the teacher can mark you down if he/she is not satisfied with how you are dressed. We had a uniform in PE that consisted of a t-shirt and shorts. I had a cold in the spring and got marked down for wearing long pants when everyone else was warm.
what a false sense of entitlement. go out and get a job! either that or take your "punishment" of not getting a PC and don't ask for pity on FML. what a pathetic spoiled little brat.
Asian Moment. Happens to me all the time.
Maybe none of you darlings who think gym is easy had the classes I had. Abusive teachers and students who picked on people for being small, weak, or sickly - or just being too "nerdy", along with mindless, asinine sports of physical "games" that no grown adult in their right mind would even consider participating in, with the occasional "quiz" on crap like "Why was basketball invented, and how did it change America?" If I had it to do over again, I'd go back in time and get straight F's in PE, instead of D's. I'd teach impromptu gym classes in how to smoke cigarettes and eat greasy hamburgers. Get an after-school job and get your own computer. The number of people who can buy their own computer because they learn a good work ethic and to take care of themselves is much higher than the number of people who will ever be successful in life because they got a good grade in gym. People who got good grades in gym tend to make about 1/16th of what I make. I got good grades in language, math, computer science, history, and civics. I'm guessing you're in a similar situation. And someday, when your parents are old, and it's time to pick out a rest home, ask them if their gym grade is good enough to warrant the kind without extra rats. Okay, don't really do that. Don't expect other people to appreciate your accomplishments. Often they won't. It's up to you to decide what to accomplish, and if necessary, do it despite the failings of others. Those are _your_ grades, not your parent's.
that is fyl, how do u fail gym? failing gym is already a fyl~~
its easy to fail gym.phys ed or whatever you people call it now a days. You dont show up lol

Having your grades "slip" is one thing, but FAILING gym? ydi.
To pass gym don't you have to just show up? Even if you aren't athletic all you have to do is make an ounce of effort. This feels like YDI.
