Today, my parents saw my report card. Now, they refuse to buy me my the new computer I've always wanted because my grades had 'slipped'. I made honor roll for three terms, and was kept off for the fourth for a single bad grade. I failed gym. FML

Having your grades "slip" is one thing, but FAILING gym? ydi.

To pass gym don't you have to just show up? Even if you aren't athletic all you have to do is make an ounce of effort. This feels like YDI.

Just, fyi, I seriously love you, #77, for "kids have a ridiculous sense of entitlement". Thank you for taking the words right out of my mouth. Learn sooner rather than later that you can't expect to fall back on your parents every time you want something "new". Take a lesson from this; learn to better yourself and start working for the things you want. Trust me when I tell you that it is SO MUCH nicer to buy something for yourself from the money you've EARNED yourself rather than to receive a gift from your parents. WTH, FML? You cut out my whole post!

#181, do you think it is below the belt to comment on one's grammar while it is not if commenting on one's shape?

How is it possible to fail Gym?

My gym class was 50% written tests on the histories of whatever sport we were doing that month, 25% showing up, and 25% of succeeding in learning the skills. THAT'S how it's possible to fail gym. Seriously, though, you failed gym? I was REALLY fat, skipped class all the time, never studied for the stupid tests, and got caught cheating when running the mile for the physical fitness exam my freshman year of high school. I STILL passed with a B, though. What the hell did you do to fail gym? Sounds like you suck at life. You deserve to get punished for failing, but since it's gym, I say they make you pay for half the computer yourself.

how exactly does one fail GYM? I honestly didn't think that was possible.

There's no possible way to get lower than a 95% in gym.
