Today, my parents told me that they've been having a contest to see who could punish me the most this week. So far, my mom is in the lead by kicking me out of the car near railroad tracks, and making me walk the 4 miles home in the freezing rain. FML

Today, my mom made me go shopping with her. It was freezing out, but she didn't wear a coat, boasting that she doesn't feel the chill like I do. By the time we drove home she was whining about freezing to death, and now I'm stuck in a house whose heating is set to "inferno". FML

Today, my dad forced me to take part in a pathetic act of revenge against our neighbors, who keep parking their 4x4 in front of our house. He made me stand watch while he kept trying to slash their tires. An hour later, we were waiting for my mom to bail us out of jail. FML

Today, my parents, who are divorced, were arguing over who has to pay for my bus pass. They decided they wouldn't pay unless the other one did too. Neither will pay the £60 it'll cost for my bus pass. I now have to walk to school every day, in freezing winter weather. It's 9 miles. Each way. FML

Doormat blues

Today, my mom spent an hour lecturing me on how I'm a doormat who lets people walk all over me, and that I needed to be more assertive. So I stood up and told my dad, no, I am not going on that forestry camp he wants me to go to. Mom sat silently by as he screamed and grounded me for the entire summer. FML

Today, my parents yelled at me for 10 minutes without letting me get a word in edgeways for getting a 48 on my test. They took my phone, unplugged my internet, and took my car keys. They wouldn't listen no matter how many times I told them, "It was out of 50". It actually was. FML

156 - I'm not a usually a violent person. But I seriously hope someone regularly beats the shit out of you with a club. And I wonder how different the reaction would have been if, instead of his kid, the guy had been beating his wife with a belt. Think about it.

It's EXTREMELY likely that you deserve all of this. Why else would one's parents abuse their child to such an extent as to have a punishment contest?

Your parents sound twisted and insensitive but take it from me, the foster care system sucks and placement for older kids is hard to come by, so you ight end up in a group home (they put underage CRIMINALS in group homes then act surprised when the criminalize victimize the other teens who are only there because they have crap parents). If your parents aren't physically hurting you I'd say get a job as soon of you're of age and be prepared to move out the day you'er legally allowed to!
