Way to ruin a family trip. The considerate thing to do for their kids would be to wait until after the trip so that the fun isn't shadowed by ill feelings and sadness. What jerks.

most awkward family outing EVER! They really should have waited until after the trip to tell everyone the news so everyone could hold on to the memory as a happy memory. now its the awkward trip where everyone is sad. BADmom and dad BAD *smacks them with a rolled up newspaper
