Today, my phone died. I plugged it in to charge and then went out to run some errands. When I returned, my phone was no where to be found, and our shovel was on the floor, muddy and wet. I then discovered my 6-year old son had buried my "dead" 200$ palmpilot because he had felt sorry for me. FML

I would be sooo pissed. Especially since it's hard to be mad at your kid since he was trying to help.

not choosing your words wisely FTL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps the child wasn't left alone? The OP's son could have been there with mom (it was posted by a man) or someone else there. At least his child was trying to help. Sorry about your phone though, those can be easily replaced.

In a way that's really cute, but I'd also be very mad. Just get a new Iphone, no biggie. Also just laugh it off and say too bad I'll tell your prom date that. ;-]

Good question. And that sounds even more adorable than it originally did, nya. xD

I don't suppose there's any chance he put it in a little cardboard casket first...

the kid could have been with his mom or with an older sibling...why would you jump to the conclusion that he was home by himself?

Sorry, but that's kinda cute.
