Today, my recently married friend took off her wedding ring to make bread. Being single and pathetic, I tried it on to see what it would look like. It got stuck on my finger. The ER doctor had to cut it off. FML

My mother never takes her ring off to stop similar occasions. Stil, why on earth would you try on someone else's ring?

actually a few years ago i put a cheap plastic ring that i owned onto my finger. i waited a sec to pull it off, but by then it began to swell. i held it above my head, we soaped it, oiled it, and all of that but we had to cut it off. thankfully it was cheap so it wasn't a loss, but after my ordeal, i know that the op wasn't just an idiot. i'm pretty sure that they naturally tried to get it off on their own before going to the e.r.

Why does everyone assume OP has fat fingers? She probably just has bigger hands. It has nothing to do with weight. That being said, trying on the ring was really stupid and she should replace it.
