Today, my recently married friend took off her wedding ring to make bread. Being single and pathetic, I tried it on to see what it would look like. It got stuck on my finger. The ER doctor had to cut it off. FML

Wow. YDI. I'd never try on my friends' wedding rings. Those are kind of PERSONAL. If she let you, that's a different story, but you still deserved for forcing it onto your finger to point where you couldn't use any home methods to get it off.

I didn't realize the ring was some magical memory holder that, once destroyed, also destroys all memories of the day it was received. Pay your friend for the repairs and hopefully she'll forgive your lapse of judgement.
