I dunno, OP, all I can think of is how much I envy you for getting that role. break a leg, hun. As for all the people whining about spoilers; as others have pointed out, the story is over a century old, and the musical has been around for decades. On top of that, it's a story about French revolution that is literally titled "The Miserable", if you don't think people die in it, you're being foolish. Plus, it may be a musical spoiler, but I promise you it won't really impact your reding of the book. In the book, Eponine is so insignificant to the overall story that most adaptations just cut her completely (which is unfortunate, because I really do love her).
