Today, my sculpture, which is very important for my art grade, fell from my desk and broke to pieces. My art teacher suggested I soak the parts in water to make it easier to stick them back together. They dissolved. FML

Do you have time to remake it? If not your art teacher should understand. She was the one who suggested you soak them in water.

I just had two projects I need to pass my ceramics class explode because someone else's project blew up in the kiln

If your teacher was the one to tell you to do it, then they can't blame you

Ah Art class. In highschool I sat at a table texting, talking to my best friend, watching the girl who showed alot of cleavage try to seduce and flirt with my friend and say she wanted to **** him, and that shed be willing to do it on that table in front of everyone if nessesary. Fun times, and I still pulled out a 70 =)

Talk to your teacher about it. Especially since he suggested it nad it caused it to be destroyed. Hopefully he will give you time to make another one. Sorry this happened to you. :(

If she were a good professor she would have just given u an average grade instead of making you soak the pieces in water; especially if the pieces were bone dry, that would have done absolutely no good- she should have known that.

What Did you do? Soak them with the pressure washer?

Art teachers shouldn't be hired if they don't know what dissolves

obviously you weren't supposed to soak for that long...
