If your son still watches Max and Ruby, maybe he's a little too young for a funeral?
hey this has already been said
My 40 year old mom still watches it with my 10 year old sister because they think it's cute. OP didn't say how old her son was, but he was obviously old enough to understand the concept of death. Personally, if they understand what death is, I think they have the right to go to the funeral.
Lol I watched that episode with my 2yrs old brother :P
OP, I recently lost my Mom & my sister 10 months apart... it's astounding the little things that will evoke memories that will make you laugh and cry in the same breath. For you and your son, I can tell you it will get easier as time goes by, but it will always be there.... and that's OK... My heartfelt condolences for your loss... Hug each other alot and remember to tell each other how much you love one another every day. Peace.....
I'm so sorry for you (>'.')> hug?
how ironic!! poor kid :/
So sorry for your loss op, and hope you & your child remember the good times forever. #20, WTF?! She just lost her mom and the kid a grandma, have a freaking heart! #35, If my mom died, I would take my kid, no matter what age so he could possibly remember her.

It's okay. He may feel sad now, but it'll help him develop coping skills that he'll use for the rest of his life. That has got to be an incredibly difficult situation to be in as a parent. You're dealing with grief and trying to be a source of support for your son. I hope you two heal soon [:
# 2: It's not a sad cartoon; it's a cartoon with a grandma.
