I can see where you are coming from but you have to see her point of view. No one has ever told her before obviously, and they are regional and specific to certain areas like other physical traits are that are passes down through genes.

Actually, 90, you have no idea how stupid Americans do sound trying to say 'g'day mate' or some of the other generic comments Americans seem to think we say (I have never heard anyone say "shrimp on the barbie" or anything like that. Besides, they're called prawns). While Americans trying to imitate our accent does make us cringe, as 88 said, it also makes us laugh at you.
