She needs a serious talk, maybe counselling. If her self-esteem is that low it will only lead to depression, self-harm and other related problems.
I agree. This is actually quite disturbing. There may be deeper issues that need to be resolved for the safety of the child. If my 3 year old did something like this when she's 13 I wouldn't be whining on FML. I would be doing everything in my power to help her. Be a parent and help your child OP.
Sounds like your girl is being picked on in some way or other. I think you need to try to talk to her about what has caused this. Probably easier said than done but she sounds a little mixed up at the moment and could probably use some parental help.
Was she a ginger?
Half ginger (freckles only).
I'm betting somebody said something about them...a loved one. do the research before they hurt her again.
Sounds like she's being bullied. I would talk to her
I agree with others. Somebody has probably been picking on her or bullying her. If it isn't that it might be down to the fact that sheer cover etc cover up peoples' freckles and see that as a selling point. Talk to her.
I agree. OP, make sure you get down to the cause of this. For your daughter's sake. Talking to her is probably a good starting point. This is not a psychologically healthy behavior.
A face without freckles is like a night without stars.
I wish I could favourite comments as well as posts!
she is likely being bullied op.
