Kids were probably teasing her about them. Actually not probably, definitely. Middle school kids are dicks and will attack anything about a person. Honestly ask your daughter if people are picking in her. My brother is in middle school and one of his classmates commuted suicide because he was bullied so much, honestly look in to what's wrong with her.

That was probably the result of her being teased at school or something of that nature. You should really talk to your daughter and see what actually caused her to harm herself. She's 13, she knows freckles just don't wash away, there must be something deeper than what the situation is...

Now she.will prob have intense scarring to go along with her freckles. Since it was severe enough to warrant a trip to the hospital.

sounds like she its being bullied in school. you should look into it and try to stop it before she does something worse to herself.

She definitely needs help. And it didn't have to be because if bullies, many times a person's own hate toward themselves or any characteristic of their body is enough for them to do crazy things.
