its a test
I'd say sell it and enjoy the proceeds, but I actually hope your response was to return the gift and explain to him that it was a completely insensitive and inappropriate gift for an alcoholic. And if he gave one word of argument I hope you asked him to leave. I also hope the rest of your family is more supportive.
Stay strong OP! I vote you get rid of the bottle immediately. I like the idea of selling it but give it to a family member or friend to do that for you. Don't keep the bottle in the house. You're being awesome; don't let this bottle kick your awesomeness in the nuts.
I hope the rest of your family called him out for being rude/insensitive/stupid/an asshole.
Sell it!
Well, congratulations on keeping it up so far!
That better be virgin champagne.
OP, please ignore all the insensitive bastards trying to tell you to take a sip and especially ydi. congrats on being sober!! you've accomplished something major. I like the idea of busting it right in front of him, but I'm guessing it's too late. oh well, Chuck it in the garbage and get on with enjoying life! :)
Sell it.

Well it can serve as a great reminder to keep going with your sobriety.
If you've been sober that long I'm sure you can stay strong and resist it. Did your uncle even know what the celebration was for though? That's pretty inconsiderate.
