OP, if you can't drop the class, surely there's a way to learn the material to be tested- maybe find a relevant textbook or have someone tutor you?
OP is in the UK. OP doesn't pay for the class.
Um, in the U.K. we still pay for university - that's what tuition fees are? OP may have a student loan to pay for their tuition but will still have to pay it back.
If you can, report her, someone like that shouldn't be "teaching" anywhere.
u better go talk to someone about that
Was it just a slip-up, or did he/she not correct themselves?
What's 5ml? Do u mean FML?
I just realised 5ml
How can you fail a class based on made up curriculum? Wouldn't you just be getting the wrong answers right? So technically, you're passing the class based on made up bullshit but in general its just wrong
@57,this has nothing to do with growing up. You don't pay to go to a university or college just to be told to learn it from a book.
I agree there's nothing wrong with studying from a book. But if your teacher doesn't know what they are teaching, you need to change your class or complain to the dean/principal. Even if you weren't the one paying for your education,it's still a waste of time, money (of others) and you're probably being taught crap that's going to hurt you more than help. Hiring a tutor is a good suggestion, but if your teacher does not know what they are doing, you're still wasting the time and money on that teacher when you could get a good teacher who could save the money and time you'd spend on a tutor.
pick up a text book they are there to teach little as they can its up to you your not in high school any more.

Ummm you need to contact the Dean IMMEDIATELY. You not getting the grade you deserve over a Professor not even knowing the material is ridiculous. Keep working hard though, it'll all come together! Best of luck
You know what they say. Those who can't do, teach.
