I'll agree with 34 on this. Pretty dirt ball thing to do is have a neck tattoo. And to get your dogs name? Stupid. We have a regular customer at work that has her boyfriends name on the back of her neck. Looks retarded really. That's even worse than a tramp stamp.

It's a real shame you think you're in control of her body. Just because you don't like tattoos doesn't mean she can't have them if she wants. If you love her as much as you probably claimed in your vows, this should be absolutely nothing to you in the long run. The addition of some pigment to her skin doesn't make her an entirely different person, after all. It's a shame she married someone who struggles to see past it.

I don't understand why everyone has this idea that OP is controlling his wife. Not once did he say anything about telling her she couldn't have a tattoo. Just that he doesn't like them. People are entitled to not like things.
