PsychoBillyGoat tells us more.
My wife was worried about the cat because he is elderly and needs meds every 12 hours. He also has no claws ( we got him that way). He has never been outside before but lately he has been trying to get out. Also we live in Alaska, more to worry about then cars and dogs getting him

You're doing it wrong, if you had to spend "a lot of money" for flyers...
cats can run away. especially males. just because yours doesn't, doesn't mean its silly for others to think their cat did.
Can of tuna works better than anything when you loose a cat.
I wish I wasn't allergic to cats so I can have one. I always wanted a big black cat with yellow eyes. I love how despite being domestic pets, they still have wild animal instincts. Enjoy your evil kitties!
Will do.
Pets need a nifty little collar that you can buzz to find out where they are.
Cats go "missing" all the time usually they just find a nice comfy spot we cant get to them in and sleep. I would wait a good 24 hours of not seeing her before claiming shes gone, unless you let the cat outside a lot then i would be more worried.
