Change the oil...u should now b able to c thru ur motor !!
Did she bring the car to the kitchen?
you do realize that windshield washer fluid is just solvents and detergents. when a head gasket is blown mechanics run dawn dishsoap and water through an engine to clean the oil that leaked in out.
132, Do you have any idea what you are talking about? There are so many things wrong with that comment. Suffice to say though, a head gasket prevents coolant from entering your engine, and oil from entering your coolant. Dishsoap should never touch the inside of a compression chamber. Ever!
DON'T LET WOMEN TOUCH YOUR CAR UNLESS THEY ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. :I
I like that the second someone says a woman made a mistake when dealing with a car there are all kinds of people calling her retarded, and saying that it's common sense. It's really not. Gender stereotypes keep women from being educated about cars, and then when they do muster up the courage to try they approach the problem feeling like it's an incredibly complicated thing, simply because she's been told her whole life that cars are hard, and women shouldn't play with them. Op's wife made a mistake, but she's not 'retarded', she's simply another victim of society's gender stereotypes and rampant sexism.
No, she's definitely an idiot. Speaking from personal experience, people think it's neat when girls want to learn about cars. Everything I know has been taught to me from mechanics and people who work in the auto business and they've all said how they wish more females would be interested in cars. People have this stigma about stereotypes this and sexism that, but unless you've had the misfortune of running across a few self-important rednecks, people really aren't that way anymore. So ladies, guys won't laugh at you if you inquire about cars. Do it; don't be a mindless twat like OP's wife.
I'm glad your personal experience was a good one. But not everyone's is, and sexism isn't isolated to 'rednecks'. You demonstrated some right there in your comment. 'Twat' is a gendered insult. That's sexism. She's not an idiot, either. She just made a mistake, and it seems to have been a completely innocent one. You wouldn't berate an employee for making a mistake on their first day, even it it caused a bigger problem later. Or maybe you would? I really don't know.
See picture of oil can labelled "Engine Oil." See picture of windshield labeled "Washer fluid." Put washer fluid where oil is. Derp. If that's not stupid, than the bar for intelligence now ranks somewhere between a doorknob and a puddle of cat vomit.
Also, and I have to say this for posterity, there's a difference between making an honest mistake and having absolutely no common ******* sense. The noise with the complete picture-book obviousness NOW COMPLETE WITH HANDY "WORDS" to label said pictures aside, if you don't know what you're doing with a costly and vital piece of equipment, don't **** with it. You're not talking about a ten year old who decides to dig a pool in the backyard without consulting his parents because he knows he'll get in trouble, you're talking about a grown ass woman who should know better. No matter how you look at it, it's idiocy, no matter how PC you try to be about it.
Did she put the oil where the wiper fluid goes, that would be better
