Today, our class was focusing on discrimination, and our teacher asked us if anyone had ever felt discriminated against. I put my hand up to share a story, and my teacher immediately said "It's because you're ginger, isn't it?" That's not what I was going to say. FML

having known a number of Irish reds, the last thing you want to do is go poking fun at them, unless you want to take a trip to the E.R.... Irish reds are known to be... passionate, shall we say... saying something to them like, "fire in the hole" is likely to get you beaten to a bloody pulp.... That said, Irish reds rock! (and no, I'm not an Irish red...)

Damn skippy, 98!  My hair isn't naturally this bright (obviously), but I do have the inborne right to say this: a) Especially beware of the smaller ones; we're far feistier and scrappier than you think. b) Obviously those who pick on gingers have never experienced an Irish redhead in the sack! :}

It's not naturally that bright? Damn, Jane. Way to burst my bubble. On a slightly different note, I probably should have had red hair. My personality does not match my brunette roots.

Ha! Well, it takes a certain kind of person to be a convincing redhead, Steff. Should you ever decide to try it out, you could definitely get away with it.  For all I know, my hair could be this bright by now. >.< I haven't really seen my natural color in, uh, a long time, and it changed pretty drastically on its own a few times before I started helping it along.

well, unfortunately for me, I've never had the experience of a Irish red in the sack, but I did date one many years ago when I was quite virtuous, shall we say.... she was fun to be with :)
