Yeah, that's the same

Today, we were talking about discrimination. I shared my story of being denied housing and a job offer because I'm trans. Some doofus tried to compare it to the time he was denied a car loan due to not having credit history. FML

You are the worst kind of human. Basically you are saying how they feel is probably invalid. At the end of the day some one compared credit to something that is a lot more traumatic.

Maybe I have. It made me the best at what I do because I had to be the best just to survive in it. I learned “feelings” and other people “not treating me fair” don’t have to stop you from getting what you want. Discrimination in developed countries is REALLY overstated anyway and I choose not to participate in the “who’s more discriminated” competition. Hey, people take things differently. Also, the possibility of op’s experience NOT actually being discrimination is still there; it is you that cannot acknowledge a very real possibility here. When you wake up tomorrow, remember: it’s a good day for a good day!

Well, is that really why you were denied? Did you have sufficient income when applying for the housing? Did you have the right experience and qualifications for the job and were you the only person that applied?

I’m assuming you’re not trans if that’s the first thing that comes to mind. Or you’re just someone who hasn’t faced enough discrimination in life to know what it feels like

Bloopaloop's never faced true discrimination.

Maybe he was trying to buy a Trans Am, which makes that germane to your topic.

I hope it’s a newer model with a transaxle, that would probably be more fuel efficient. The old ones had transistor radios which you could barely hear over the engine. Maybe the apartment was in Transylvania? Too bad the job transfer didn’t work out.

At least the trans person had transportation.

common sense is like batteries ALLWAYS SOLD SEPARATELY I'm sorry you were discriminated against this sucks wish I could change the world or at least slap them for u

The job, I believe. The housing I don’t. Unless they straight out told you that’s why you were denied. Because as long as you make enough and have a clean background, whatever you identify as doesn’t mean shit.

this is so ******* wrong. try talking to or knowing any queer people fuckhead
