Today, some construction workers kept going in and out the door next to my cubicle. They decided it would be easier to just prop the door open for the next hour. It's 20 degrees outside, and I'm wearing a dress. FML

Today, at work, it was so windy that it started taking the door off its hinges. The door now won't close all the way. I can't leave until someone comes to fix it. FML

Today, I left the apartment door open so the construction workers sent by our landlord could work in the kitchen, while I slept in after working a late shift. They knocked on the bedroom door at 7 a.m., asking me to move the bed. FML

Today, my room was so cold that I actually had to wear a coat to enter it without feeling extremely uncomfortable. I have insulated curtains for this exact reason, but it looks like that won't do. FML

Today, I was trying on dresses in a stall that requires an employee of the store to have a key to open. After I took off one dress to go to another, an employee quickly opens my door, to give the stall to someone else. The entire store could see me in my granny panties and bra. FML

Today, the block where I work had mandatory all-storefront works. I had to be there. The workers asked me for my ladder, cord extensions, driller, complained for 4 hours, and didn't clean after them. Now they're in front of my shop, loudly mocking my looks and clothes, I can hear them through the door. Nice day. FML

Today, I woke up with a skull-splitting headache. I braved the wind and freezing temperatures to get to work. Today is also the day my boss thought it would be cute to let the elementary school band play at our office. FML

Today, I've been freezing in my office for days at work. When I finally complained about it to a coworker, she led me into my office, said, "Let me show you something," then pointed out the thermostat I'd never noticed was even there and turned it up with a pitying look. FML

Today, the men clearing the walkway outside my dorm room with a snowblower didn't realize that my window was open. I looked over from my computer to see snow shooting in, covering my clock, closet, and radio. Now it's melting. FML

You need to keep them abreast of your condition. I suspect you've already made two points about how cold it is that should stand up well to scrutiny. They probably just can't put their finger on them. OK, I'm done.

Her dress isn't the problem. Her lack of spine is the problem. OP: get up off your ass and close the door. Every time they prop it, re-close it. If they get pissy and ask who keeps doing it, and why, own up to it and them to stop propping the door open.

Ikr! I was just thinking the same thing. Knowing my attitude and how cold I get they would have been assed out cuz the door would have gotten locked and they would have had to take the long way around

for all the idiots asking "why are you wearing a dress?" um, ever heard of a sweater dress? and, if she works in a building, in a damn chair all day, i'm pretty sure she'd be fine on a regular day, because buildings have a little something called HEAT.

um sweater dresses are for a cool like 50 to 60 degree weather thing honey.... not freezing to the point of snow. she should have wrapped up. and you should chill on the attitude lol

No thanks, I'll keep my attitude(: and, definitely not. Many sweater dresses are made fairly thick, and with a coat over it, going from her car to the office wouldn't kill her. She works indoors, why dress like a damn eskimo??
