What's absurd is falling in love at the mere sight of someone. You're pathetically shallow if you believe in something like that. You don't even know the person, how can you be in love with them? By the way, you project a lot of your own insecurities through YOUR raging. Seek attention elsewhere. @ #18
YDI cause you can't take a joke. Not an FML. You're marrying a woman who loves you, AND has a sense of humor. I'm failing to see where 'F My Life' enters into this...
She loves you okay? Chill. Plus - "it was just supposed to be a one night stand?" That's how Meredith and McDreamy ended up together [Grey's Anatomy]! And they're an amazing couple.
I hate you so much for this comment.
This is not FYL. YDI for being such a stick in the mud. You also deserve it for believing in love at first sight. Love is a deep connection built on trust and understanding. It's impossible to know that about someone the second you see them.
Same difference, you can't possibly love someone at first sight unless your some tele-empathetic psycho-freak. You need to get to know someone before you feel any real sort of love for them. Otherwise you just love the idea of a person. Love at first sight is just a fairytale coined from our ancestors internal conflict between ******* and marriage. Its LUST at first sight, the undeniable attraction between you and that person; people before us just felt the need for marriage between a sexually active couple. So the old: love at first sight, phrase would be better phrased as: Lust that leads to the urge to marry in order to ****... at first sight.
#1, if you think it's impossible to feel love then you must have never loved your girlfriends, only LUST. People these days.
Retard, learn to read. #1 said "the first time you look at someone". "People these days" shouldn't be so quick to criticise if they can't even take in a simple sentence before doing so
Why does it matter what her original intentions were? She loves you now right? It shouldn't matter to you that she didn't intend to stay with you at first it's the fact that she did that you should care about. And just because she said that doesn't mean she meant it. She could have very well been joking. And I have to agree that there is no "love at first sight" thing. There may be incredible chemistry when you first meet somebody and you may instantly began falling for someone but I don't believe the "love at first sight" saying. There's a reason why it's the basic storyline of romance movies...Cause it never happens! If this happened frequently it wouldn't be interesting to an audience. OP, get over it. Your'e making far too much of a little thing.

Well, she's marrying you, right?
her story is better.
