or maybe he sees a ghost D:
It's a dog. They bark at nothing all the time.
My MIL actually put her old dog down because he would go nuts about the same time every morning, around 4 am. It went on for weeks. Her mom ( a lady close to 100 I think) talked her into it. After they had the dog put to sleep she realized the neighbors let their dog out and into the yard at 4 am.
Don't you people have guns I mean really if I was robbing u and u pulled some kind of knife I'd laugh and gut shot u lol
I wish there was a button that said "******' lame"
I feel your pain. When I was a kid, we had a Bassett Hound who would bark in the wee hours of the morning at beetles, feathers, etc.
a machete?! god damn, your the animal here
maybe he saw a ghost..
Or, maybe he heard something you couldn't. Dogs don't have the capacity to be assholes for the sake of it. If he was flipping out, it had to have been caused by something he perceived as a threat.

A machete really? Where do you think you are, in the ******* jungle?
Alternatively, whoever was there heard a dog lose its mind, saw the house lights come on, a guy stumble around, pick up a machete and head for the yard, then unsurprisingly decided not to stick around and see what happened next. Buy your dog a big bone.
