Today, the father of my unborn child told me he isn't sure he'll be able to make it to the birth, since there's no guarantee of when it will happen, so he can't schedule time off. This would be understandable if he actually had a job. FML

The only time this would ever fly is if said baby daddy is in the armed forces or some similar career that took him out of the country due to said job. (Been there done that 5 days after DH had to deploy) But you know OP you could talk with the OB and see about scheduling an induction then u know when it will be and he will have to come up with something better either way I am sorry. Sometimes men change when a woman gets pregnant. Sometimes for better sometimes worse. I hope for the former for you and the baby but plan for the latter so u won't be screwed as it already seems to be that way:(

Most doctors won't induce without a medical reason, because it actually increases risks for complications. If her only reason is because she wants the father to have no excuses, it's not worth the risk.

Any guy can be the "father" but it takes a DAD TO BE THERE FOR THEIR CHILD!

Uhm... and you are having a baby with a bum? You are surely implying he has nothing of critical importance that needs scheduling. I sorta feel sorry for you, but honestly, OP what did you expect? YDI for making babies with a bum.

Op your unborn child's father is a douche bag. (That's all that needs to be said)

That was the worst... I dont even know what it was but it was a bad one. In no way is it the governments fault.

You made your bed, now you have to lie in it.

I'm willing to bet that is not the first brainless thing he's said to you.
