I'm gonna be British and say: Wow! 30 degrees?! That's hot! We're lucky to even get 27degrees in the summer, it's spring and you get 30! But of course you are talking about Fahrenheit and I honestly don't understand Fahrenheit because we aren't taught it here in school. Celsius!!

I can translate into Celsius: multiply the temperature by 9/5 (roughly double) and subtract 32. I'm sure it's not that difficult to get to Fahrenheit. Or you could just know that 32* F = 0* C and know that it's freezing...

Multiply by 1.8 and add 32 is easier for me to remember. Same thing though. 32 is freezing, -40 is cold and the same in either and 72 is 21 or room temperature. Now everyone has the abridged idiots guide to international temperature reporting.
