She's right, but it's not like you were the only one.
next time make sure the girl has a life outside of you. or go on craigslist for a nice NSA arrangement, because clearly you dont have enough time for an actual girlfriend situation. ^_=
You shouldn't make a committment to someone when you know you won't have time to fufill at least the minimum to keep the relationship alive. You completely deserved it.
116, who said it was a committed relationship?
The OP?
you idiots who agree with the girl are completely ******!!!! and no doubt a bunch of self-centered little snots - you have lost nothing bud, she is too into herself to ever care about anyone else!
I don't necessarily agree with her fully, but I can understand why she left, can't you? It's not nice what happened, but it's understandable and just another story of where people are forced to part ways due to different directions/wants/needs in life.
Word the **** up, 120. It's your life, your ambitions and passions come first and everything else comes second, especially flash in the pan 2-month flings. OP's girlfriend needs to get a life rather than wait around for an opening in his schedule.
178, I'm saying that she should be just as busy and driven as he is. The first thing on her mind shouldn't be "waaa waaa my boyfriend has ambition", it should be her own ambitions and pursuits and projects. Relationships SHOULD be second priority, you have to have your own life and do your thing and be your own person. That's the definition of being well-rounded and mature. Cut the umbilical cord and explore the universe.
What's the point of being in a relationship then? I agree a person should have hobbies and goals and stuff... but if you're 100% focused on that then why are you dating? Sounds like OP is looking for a penpal or a fuckbuddy... not a girlfriend.
seems like you were way to busy to be in a relationship.but you must have dated a attention ***** i would expect her to understand your situation lol.
I'm sorry but she has a point. You shouldn't be in a relationship unless you have time for it. Not saying YDI but she deserves someone who has time for her. Better luck next time bro.
hahah wow #66 sounds like something dwight schrute would say... and i understand how it feels to be ignored by your bf but i also understand whats its like to have a job and be in school...thats really stressful you probably should have just told her your really busy and that your not purposely ignoring her and to not take it personal
#125 is totally right.
so she wanted something better for herself just as you did. why take a gf if you have no time for her? booty calls? it is not like you were together for years. a couple of months. put on your big girl panties and deal with it. she did the right thing.

it's for the better, you have no time for a relationship anyway. soooo.... why even start one if you are going to be nonexistant? two jobs and college, that gotta suck.
you really shouldn't be dating at all think abt it from her point of view she never sees you and your gone all hours how is a realiatuonship like that supposed to work? you weren't selfish but she wasn't your priority andshe felt like she needed to be. she shouldve come talk to you but she didn't so now it's time to move on
