The chicken pox virus stays latent in your system after you've had it (it's there, but it's just not active) and it can pop back up again as shingles. You get a painful, usually large rash that burns and feels like you're getting needles poked into your skin repeatedly. Really fun stuff.
I have had chicken pox 3 times all very bad cases it sucks really bad.
I've had them... they suck really bad... I was sick on my birthday w/ shingles last december...
aww feel better soon.. I had shingles last summer when I was 8.5 months pregnant with my son. make sure you get oral medication from your doctor and use calamine lotion on the shingles. it really helps with the itching and it a actually helps dry up the blisters so they never pop witch hurst more. Once you are all healed use vitamin E oil to help with the scarring. I got shingles in my armpit, arm, back and chest and I still have some scars from it.
Sorry Op. My grandpa had them on his head.He told me it hurt worse than when he got shot in Vietnam.
oh thats sux balls. at least now u know and can get treatment.
shingles is the adult version of chicken pox- in the form of a very painful rash that covers half your body... I've had it and I'm only 18 it sucks!
I had them when I was only 12...And it definitely does suck!
