That's ok- I get really filthy looks from stangers when I buy them. I already know there's no way I would be pregnant (implanon) but I still check every month because it's my responsibility to make sure my contraceptives are working. I wouldn't worry too much about the gossip because it's not like she saw you holding a positive pregnancy test and I'm sure most of the people she tells would tell her it's none of anyone's business.

Anyone who has the lack of intelligence to believe a gossip versus coming to you directly and asking is no better than the gossip.

Just say a relative/friend needed some to test for testicular cancer and was too embarrassed to get one himself. Or just say "I thought I was pregnant but really it was just diarrhoea" people always avoid that kind of topic.

Why is it worse to be pregnant than to be caught buying the test? I think it's hypocritical that we look the other way until someone gets pregnant. Then all of a sudden, someone who's doing the exact same thing as those who didn't "get caught" is now somehow less moral. I just don't get that.
