What makes these people who have been "in love" for years think that suddenly the person they've liked will "suddenly" want to marry them without dating? It's "I've been in love with you for years and now he wants to confess something to you? Clearly you don't have much dating experience because this kind of thing is from the movies not reality. You want that person to notice you? Stop being a coward and give them something to notice or move on.
